MacKenzie Oberholzer | Goalie Coach
Mackenzie serves as the goal keeper coach for all levels of our Rapids program.
MacKenzie is originally from Greencastle, PA but now lives in Waterville, ME where she works at Thomas College as the Sports Information Director and Assistant Field Hockey Coach. She received her undergraduate degree from Thomas in 2021 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Coaching. She is currently working towards her MBA.
MacKenzie was a four-year goalie at Thomas College and co-captain her senior year. During her time at Thomas, she earned: NAC All-Conference First Team, NAC Defensive Player of the Week, NAC Rookie of the week, 2x NECC Academic All-Conference, NAC All-Academic Team, 4x NFHCA National Academic Squad. After her senior year she earned the Terrier Award at Thomas. This award encompasses what being a Thomas College Student-Athlete is about, athletic achievement, sportsmanship, academic achievement, campus involvement, and Terrier pride.
In high school MacKenzie was named All-Conference First team her junior and senior years. Along with Co-Player of the year in her senior year. MacKenzie played for the club team RAM Field Hockey from 2014-2017. She has traveled to Palm Springs, CA to play at the National Hockey Festival. She also has participated in two shooting stars tournaments one in Virginia and the other at Spooky Nook, PA.
