U12 Skills and Drills

U12 (players born in 2012 and 2011) will focus on foundational stick skills and fun field hockey drills, which lay the groundwork for learning the game and becoming a complete player. Fun footwork agility drills round out a comprehensive training session that will enhance enjoyment and success on the field, building in body and ball control, coordination and reaction time. Practices will be two hours, once per week, in Waterville. This age group will not have a one-day tryout. Tournament team selection will be based on performance throughout the practice sessions.
